The Panaewa Rainforst Zoo & Gardens in Hilo is a great place to enjoy tropical gardens and let your keiki (kids) run around. The Zoo has free admission, but accepts donations. Panaewa Zoo is home to many animals including two Bengal tigers, Sriracha & Tzatziki, and have recently added a baby sloth! Built within a tropical rainforest, you can enjoy learning about a large variety of plants along with the many different species of animals that live there.
