Ainamalu is the newest resort community in the stunning Waikoloa Beach Resort, and is the perfect place for your vacation on the Kohala Coast of the Big Island of Hawaii. “Ainamalu” means protected, peaceful lands in Hawaiian. This community is made up of detached, single-level three and four bedroom homes with beautiful ocean or mountain views. All our Ainamalu homes have large yards with private pools and spas. On the expansive covered lanais you’ll find plenty of seating, private barbecue grill, and outdoor living areas with TVs. For your comfort all our homes have air conditioning, high-end appliances, high-speed wireless internet, Smart TVs and more. For your island exploration we have garages stocked with a variety of bikes and we have included lots of beach gear like snorkel sets, boogie boards, chairs, umbrellas, sand toys and more.
Within the Waikoloa Beach Resort you’ll find Anaeho’omalu Bay (A-Bay), a beautiful, long white-sand beach, that is perfect for long walks, sunbathing and watching sea turtles (honu) during the sunset. On the beach you’ll also find the Lava Lava Beach Club, a fantastic restaurant and bar that has delicious food and drink and nightly entertainment. Ainamalu is within a ten minute drive to all of the Kohala Coast’s best beaches. There are two world-class golf courses within the resort; the Kings’ Course and the Beach Course. The Kings’ Course is right beside Ainamalu and has a Scottish links-style layout. The Beach Course features a creative layout with stunning Pacific Ocean views. There are five other excellent golf courses within a short drive from Ainamalu. There are two premier shopping complexes within the resort; the Kings’ Shops and the Queens’ Marketplace. They offer spas, salons, movie theatres, clothing, jewelry, souvenirs, and more.
