Experience Surfing on the Pacific Ocean
Have a blast learning to catch a wave during your Big Island vacation!
If you like a fun physical challenge then you’ll love surfing! Surfing was part of ancient Polynesian culture and predates Western contact with the region. Ancient Hawaiians viewed surfing as more than just recreation or sport, but instead as an art form. Take surf lessons to experience this historic and fun pass-time.
Surfing Instruction
It’s best to schedule surf lessons at the beginning of your trip, since water conditions don’t always cooperate with your scheduled time and it leaves you time to reschedule your lesson. Make sure to ask the company about their policy regarding this before booking to make sure it works for you!
